About Dr. Julie Leonard, PsyD

Julie Leonard, PsyD, is an experienced psychologist who specializes in working with children and adolescents.

She obtained a masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Xavier University in 1996, and her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2003. She has worked and trained in a variety of settings, from a from a juvenile detention center to a residential treatment program for juveniles with sexual behavior problems. Prior to coming to Nickerson & Associates, PC, she was the clinical director for an inpatient program treating adolescents with self-injurious behavior. Dr. Leonard is a talented psychologist who performs psychosexual assessments as well as providing group and individual treatment. She is a member of the American Psychological Association.
