About Dr. Debra Nickerson, PsyD

The clinical staff is headed by Debra Nickerson, PsyD, licensed clinical psychologist.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. She is also a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) and is the Past President of the Illinois Chapter of ATSA. She is on the Attorney General’s list of approved providers for sex offenders. Her specialty is treatment of adult and adolescent sexual abusers and their families. She also works with trauma victims and provides general psychological services. She obtained her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College (1989). She subsequently obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology (1998).
